RT_DIALOG Designer

The RT_DIALOG designer now supports editing dialogs right-to-left (RTL), using the WS_EX_LAYOUTRTL style. The WS_EX_LAYOUTRTL style applies automatically when a new dialog or language is added to the project or when the target language is changed. If necessary, you can manually edit the dialog style in the dialog designer - on the Resource tab or in the string editor on the Properties – tab, by editing the ExStyle property.

Also, the restriction on the size of a dialog has been removed. In the earlier versions, the size was limited by the size of the Windows Desktop.

Property Inspector

The property inspector now contains two tabs - Resource and Visual Designer.

The Resource tab displays the properties of objects in the project; the Visual Designer tab — the properties of the objects selected in the visual editor.

Environment Variables in File Names

The names of localized files can now contain environment variables. An environment variable name must be enclosed in the percent characters - %...%; for example, %ProgramFiles% .

Licensing

In version 2.12, changes were made to the restrictions of the Demo Mode. In the earlier versions, the Demo Mode did not have any functionality restrictions but allowed using the software only for 30 days since the moment Radialix was installed. Now in the Demo Mode the program just adds random characters to some strings in the localized file, but you can use the software for as long as you want.

The Translator Mode is now the same as the Demo Mode, and unlike in the earlier versions now it doesn't have any functionality restrictions, except adding random characters to the localized file.

The registration data (name and key) is no longer stored in the registry; instead, it's now stored in the license.ini file, in the Radialix  2 sub-folder of current Windows user's Documents folder. That simplifies backing up and transferring Radialix settings – now you simply copy the license.ini file.

Also, it is no longer required to enter the activation code and restart Radialix after entering your registration data.

If you are using an earlier version of Radialix , when installing Radialix version 2.12 the program will import all of your registration data that you entered earlier; you do not have to enter it all over or create the license.ini file by hand.
